On the pavilion forecourt Dr. Heinz Fischer planted a black pine tree. Further Highlights of the ‘Austrian National Day’ were a perfromance of the young ensemble Federspiel in the pavilion, the opening of ‘austrian design explosion’ at the Triennale di Milano and a concert at the Teatro alla Scala by Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra playing Gustav Mahler’s “Sinfonie Nr. 3″, conductor Mariss Jansons (charity concert in the aid of Italian Red Cross).

Das team.breathe.austria hatte die Ehre, Herrn Bundespräsidenten Dr. Heinz Fischer und die österreichische Delegation durch den breathe Pavillon zu führen! Am Pavillon Vorplatz pflanzte Dr. Heinz Fischer einen Schwarzkiefer Baum. Weitere Highlights des ‘Austrian National Day’ waren eine Performance des jungen Enssembles Federspiel im Pavillon, die Eröffnung der ‘austrian design explosion’ im Triennale Museum Mailand und die Aufführung der “Sinfonie Nr. 3″ von Gustav Mahler durch die Wiener Philharmoniker im Teatro alla Scala, Dirigent Mariss Jansons (Wohltätigkeitskonzert für das italienische Rote Kreuz).
